WHY WE WERE CALLED

The food and beverage sector has been affected by these surcharge increases because of a typical effluent containing high oil and grease and total suspended solids. Tradesmen were  called at 11:45pm after reports of sewer overflowing over the common area to the building in Potts Point. Tradesmen attended immediately and noted it was raw effluent that was surcharging.

WHAT WE DID

He proceeded to enter the restaurant downstairs and access the boundary trap at the rear of the property. He first attempted to clear the line with hand tools but this was unsuccessful.

Tradesmen proceeded to set up high pressure jetting equipment and managed to penetrate the blockage and partially clear the line.

RESULTS

On completion the area was cleaned and all fixtures tested. We do highly recommend returning during normal business hours and completing another hour of jetting work and detailed camera audit to confirm this issue is not recurring.
