WHY WE WERE CALLED

A blocked toilet is a major inconvenience, especially if it’s the only toilet on your property, and needs rectifying before it becomes an unhygienic embarrassment. We urgently attended a plumbing problem in Maroubra after reports of a blocked/leaking toilet in the ground floor bathroom.

WHAT WE DID

The tradesman attempted to clear the blockage with hand tools however he was unsuccessful. They removed the toilet and with the use of high-pressure jet blaster and camera cleared blockage. The blockage was found to be caused from tree root intrusion in the original ceramic pipework. Re installed toilet and tested.

RESULTS

It is highly recommended that excavation is completed outside the bathroom to install an access point so the toilet does not need to be removed in the future. This will also provide access to clear all tree roots from the remainder of the sua line as tree root growth was noticed in numerous areas of the drainage system.
