WHY WE WERE CALLED
Overflowing drains can be a nuisance for many homeowners. It’s not only time consuming to identify the reason and unblock the drain, but it can also lead to a number of other issues. One of the strata blocks reported a blocked drain in the courtyard in Woollahra.
WHAT WE DID
Tradesmen attended the site after reports of a blocked drain and were required to clear the blocked drain from the outside stack line. On completion, tradesmen completed a camera audit and found the line all terracotta but free from tree roots.
RESULTS
After packing up, the entire area was disinfected as raw effluent was surcharging. An overflowing outside drain can cause foul-smelling water, potentially flooding, build-up of bacteria and also structural damage so it is better to be fixed right away.
