We received a call from our client who wanted us to fix a leaking roof in her house in Watson Street. We sent off our tradesman to investigate the cause of the leak. The tenant has initially advised us that their roof is made of corrugated iron. The tradesmen have prepared safety harnesses and ladders to climb up into the roof.
We carried out a complimentary site inspection once onsite, we noticed that there are parts in the valley of the roof that need wakaflex. We have installed the wakaflex and sealed it with silkaflex. We also checked the gutters of the house and everything seems to be in good condition.
After further testing was made, the leak in the roof has stopped. The tradesman has offered the client to have a preventive maintenance check every 6 to 12 months to keep the equipment running and prevent any costly unplanned downtime due to emergency plumbing issues.
