WHY WE WERE CALLED

Any water coming into your home or a building is bad news. It can cause immediate damage as well as lead to further and more expensive problems down the line. We received a call from a strata block in North Bondi after reports of water ingress into the neighboring property.

WHAT WE DID

The tradesman accessed the roof of unit 12 to complete a roof assessment. The gutter of unit 12 was found to be blocked with a build up of moss. We completed a clean of this gutter and removed 2x 20L buckets of waste. The gutter of unit 14 was found to be a-lot cleaner however only 1 down-pipe was installed for approximately 20 meters of gutter and the down-pipe was found to have a ball which was blocking the outlet. (Ball was removed). Both gutters which are installed between both properties are of average condition and approximately the same age. The flashing in between the 2 gutters is in poor condition and lifting in areas.

RESULTS

In our opinion, both gutters between the property would have minor leaks causing water ingress into both properties below and we would recommend both are replaced at the same time as this would make the process more efficient and therefore more economical.
