PLUMBING SERVICES ACROSS SYDNEY

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
What 11 years in Bondi have taught us
Many of Bondi’s older homes still have their original clay sewer pipes, and the street trees send roots into the joints. A slow drain here is often the first sign.
Close to the beach, sand washes into stormwater pits and downpipes, so we check the pits as well as the pipe when a stormwater drain backs up.
Semis and terraces often share a drainage line with the house next door, so a blockage on one side can show up on the other.
The Bondi streets and buildings we work in
We work right across Bondi, from the shops and cafés along Bondi Road to the art deco apartment blocks, semis and terraces on the side streets around Old South Head Road. Wherever you are in Bondi, the same rules apply: $0 call-out in business hours, a fixed price approved before work starts, and a lifetime labour warranty.
Water and drainage in Bondi
Bondi’s older streets still run many original clay and earthenware sewer pipes, which crack at the joints and let tree roots in. Near the beach, sand settles in stormwater pits and downpipes, and heavy rain can overwhelm the stormwater system quickly, so we check the whole line, not just the blocked fitting.

SEASON BY SEASON
Seasonal plumbing guide
Weather in Bondi right now: see today’s forecast.
Summer
Summer storms dump a lot of water at once. Clear leaves from gutters, downpipes and stormwater pits before the storm season starts.
Autumn
Falling leaves block gutters and stormwater pits. A quick clean now saves an overflow when the rain comes.
Winter
Hot water systems work hardest in winter. If yours is over ten years old, or the water runs lukewarm, get it checked before it fails.
Spring
Tree roots grow fastest in spring and head for the water in older clay sewer pipes. Slow drains now are an early warning.

How pricing works for a plumber in Bondi
No surprises: you get an upfront, fixed price before any work starts, never an hourly meter. Every Bondi job includes a $0 call-out in business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm; $199 to $399 outside those hours), a clear scope of exactly what’s covered, and a lifetime labour warranty. You approve the price first, we only start when you’re happy.
