WHY WE WERE CALLED
Food waste disposal units use tap water and grinding forces to break food into small particles that can pass through drain pipes into sewage containment systems. Although garbage disposals provide an efficient food disposal method, it may also cause blockage on the drain.
WHAT WE DID
The tradesman cleared the kitchen sink with the use of hand tools. Blockage was found to be caused from a buildup of rice in the S-bend.
RESULTS
Many people try to force large amounts of food down a disposal, which can create blockages. Dissolving and removing rice stuck in a garbage disposal but the best thing to do is call your local plumber to fix the plumbing issue.
