WHY WE WERE CALLED

When a storm occurs, sump pumps remove excess water around the foundation of a property, transporting it away. Maintaining and testing a sump pump ensures that it works properly when needed. We were called on a Saturday morning after reports of a clogged pump in Bellevue Hill.

WHAT WE DID

The tradesmen noted when checking pumps that the pit was full of leaves and may have been forcing the check valve to jam open letting water back down Into the pit.

Tradesmen removed as many leaves as he could from the Pitt and flush the line using a nearby hose.

RESULTS

We also note the pool water level is too high and might be contributing to the problem during heavy rain. Sump pumps should be checked twice a year for preventive maintenance and avoid plumbing problems that may occur.
