WHY WE WERE CALLED

Proximity Plumbing were called by a private client in their beautiful home in Bronte to investigate a malfunctioning rainwater tank in Bronte. In some areas of Australia, citizens are completely reliant on rainwater tanks for their family’s water needs. Once on site, we carried out a complimentary site inspection.

WHAT WE DID

Upon investigation, there is no water at the appliances that are connected to the rainwater tank. There seemed to be an airlock from the rain water outlet into the rainwater save system. We bled water through, connected backup and all appliances are working fine.

RESULTS

Since the issue was diagnosed immediately, no further issues were found. We have noted to the client that we should maintain a preventive maintenance plan to check if equipments are working well and avoid major plumbing issues that may arise.
