WHY WE WERE CALLED

A clogged gutter could have a big impact on your home. When your gutters become clogged, water will be unable to properly divert away from your home. Instead, the water will spill over the side of your gutters, leading to a number of different issues like damages, mold and mildew and basement flooding. These issues can be expensive, costing homeowners $$$ in damage. Proximity Plumbing was called out this morning after reports of an overflowing box gutter in Double Bay.

WHAT WE DID

The tradesmen climbed on the roof in the pouring rain to find the box gutter completely blocked with leaves. The owner was on site and witnessed this first-hand with tradesmen. The line was cleared and the box gutter is draining correctly again.

RESULTS

We have already made a recommendation to install gutter guards. We stress the importance of installing this to prevent premature damage to the box gutter and prevent soaking the townhouse.
