WHY WE WERE CALLED

We received an approval from our previous quote that was sent to the strata committee in Double Bay regarding pipe patching to be done in the bathroom to correct isolated breakages or misalignments (Pipe patching to repair a broken section of a pipe can be an ideal, cost-effectivesolution). The tradesman immediately prepared all equipments that will be needed for the said repair and went on site.

WHAT WE DID

The tradesmen cleared the drain, the damaged drain was prepared by cutting out all roots and clearing debris using a high-pressure water jet. Visual inspection using a CCTV camera is inserted to inspect the repair area. The tradesman then removed the toilet & applied a 2m sectional patch on the root infested line. They informed the tenant that the toilet was damaged from the previous plumber and the back of the toilet had a huge hole created to avoid removing the toilet in the first instance. We had no choice but to remove the toilet as it wasn’t safe or hygienic to leave. We went to the liberty of replacing with a closest match and most economical option but if the owner wants a like for like option which we can attach specs we can order this and install this.

RESULTS

The pipe patching and toilet replacement was successfully completed by the tradesmen. A preventive maintenance check every 6 to 12 months is booked in for this job to ensure that all plumbing-related equipments are safely and efficiently working.
