For the average household clog, a well-made plunger can do the trick most of the time. However, when a clog occurs deep down in your home’s drain pipes or sewer line, a plunger just won’t cut it. Blocked drains formed by hardened grease, tree roots, or years of garbage and gunk require augering or water jetting. We were called by a client in Pyrmont after reports of a blocked drain.
The tradesman completed up to 2 hours of drain clearing on the 6 stormwater outlets at the front of the building. With the use of our CCTV camera, it was found that 2 of the 6 stormwater outlets were found to have a defective section of pipework which was allowing tree roots to enter.
On completion, the tradesman used a high pressure jetter to clean the area and re-instated street grates.
