Commercial properties have an increased likelihood to experience water leaks. The greater chances of leaks occurring in the building are due simply to the fact that commercial spaces utilize far more water than residential properties. We were called by a client in Vaucluse after reports of a water leak.
The tradesmen cut a small hole in the level 3 room to try to identify the source of the leak. No pipework could be detected so it was more efficient to isolate the water for the night and see if the leak stops. This would confirm its cold water leak. Tradesmen returned and cut in a new isolation valve on level 4 which would isolate the water to the kitchen and adjoining bedroom. Once the valve was installed the water to the other levels was re-established. Once work was completed Tradesmen left the service under pressure of 750KPA without a single drop in pressure.
The tradesman returned the next day and noted that the water leak had stopped. To avoid such troubles, property owners need to maintain their buildings in excellent condition and seek efficient professional solutions at the first sign of a water problem.
