WHY WE WERE CALLED

We were once called by a strata block in Wollstonecraft after reports of blocked drain. William, the director of Proximity Plumbing, immediately reported on site and conducted a site inspection.

WHAT WE DID

William found out that the cause of the blockages were tree roots in the drainage. The following works were done:

– Cut section of concrete

– Replace in PVC pipe and fitting

– Raise an access point to surface 

– Backfill trench and re concrete affected area

– Complete up to 60 minutes of drain clearing using high pressure jetter and camera to assess remaining sewer pipework

RESULTS

William successfully unblocked the drain, he also provided the client with a report with the condition of the remaining sewer service. He also suggested having a maintenance check every 6-12 months for us to monitor the drains and avoid draining issues.
